The life of a session musician is rarely easy. After consecutive tour cancellations and a stack of unpaid bills, Chloe Bennett fears her dream has come to an end.
Then everything changes.
Indie rocker Reid Ryder needs a replacement violinist for his tour. For Chloe, it’s the opportunity of a lifetime. For Reid, it’s a checkmark off his list. Already battling addiction, guilt, and his inability to write new music, Reid's hopeful that things are finally falling into place.
But life is never predictable.
When the tour begins, he finds himself drawn to Chloe. She challenges and inspires him. Their onstage chemistry is electric. To the outside world, they’re the perfect match. To those involved, however, it’s not so simple. When Reid’s no longer sure that the future he planned is the one he wants, a choice must be made.

Love...or loyalty.

Firstly Thank You To Olivia for letting me gush endlessly to you and Thank You To Christine. I loved Hollywood and Vine so i was sure to love Brooklyn and Beale but still did not expect it to take me on a feels rollercoaster. i mean from the first sentence in the prolouge i was like

THOSE LYRICS THOUGH

I  KNEW after that there would be more heartbreak and from Chloe and reid's first meeting it was evident that there would be a problem. They just had instant chemistry even if they didn't see it at first and the fact that Reid had a girlfriend was a moot point for me even though for the first time ever i was rooting for the girl friend and i didn't hate her (except for the part where she pratically pushed them together unintentionally)
I really can't write a good coherent review so prepare for emojis and few words.

😭😍😂😱💔❤👅😱😍😍😍
This was a slow burn of perfect intensity and wondering how we got to the prolouge.
I'm really trying to think of what else to say besides this was a perfect read of music blending with emotions and digging deep through past traumas to move forward and make something new.
This Email to Olivia Perfectly sums up my feelings, short but to the point

Trust me you will love this book as much as me and get sucked in through the amazing lyrics
And with that i give Brooklyn and Beale
                                                          Teaser/Excerpt

Lulled into an almost sedated state, she wasn’t prepared for the crushing emotion that saturated the air when Reid began to sing. Song after song, his voice mimicked the lyrics. Soft and sad, rough and tender, hopeful and despairing. It was like nothing she’d ever experienced, and it affected her in ways she didn’t realize were possibleShe wanted to step behind Reid and wrap her arms around his waist. She wanted to press her cheek to his back and hug him as tightly as possible. She wanted to do anything to stop the pain in his voice
