As Rho and Raleigh collide they must face the perilous world of Lucidin together. Nothing is black-and-white and Raleigh must decide where her alliances lie. Sometimes the hardest heart to sense is your own.

I love this cover so much, it's what made me want to read the book and i was very excited to read it. I wasn't disappointed in a sense, i did enjoy the plot and writing but the characters i don't know i nether liked or hated them. i felt that everything happened to fast and when Raleigh gets the chance to go find the cure it was like " ok yes let's just go with a stranger i never met" and then realistically her parents would put up a fight refusing to let her go at first but that conflict was over so quickly.

This all reminds me of heroes in way, the way the sickness is in them. that's the only compliment i can give this, the meeting of rho and Raleigh made me so mad, i mean she quickly offered up her body to help him ( i mean it's nice but wow you just met) and then Rho's friends irked me so much, i did like that they didn't take to Raleigh right away yet their dislike was annoying.

My biggest dislike was when Rho offered Raleigh to be on the run with him and she's like " omg yes i'll go with you" and i'm screaming at her where is your sense, at least think about it. i guess she did think about it some but that was over quickly. she was too trusting and i couldn't really enjoy the story because of the characters and everything happening so fast,

Though this plot has so much potential and i think i'm going to buy the book and read again, i wouldn't mind seeing this as a movie.
